The human part
of getting better

We believe human connection is part of healing. So we make sure no patient has to face a hospital stay alone.

Too many patients spend hours, sometimes days, without a single conversation that isn't clinical. No one to listen, to laugh with, or to simply sit with them. That isolation is real, and it has real consequences for recovery.

The Human Part exists to change that. Our volunteers, vetted, trained, and supported, visit wards to do something medicine alone can't: be human. For patients, it's company when they need it most. For volunteers, it's experience that shapes careers. For the NHS, it's a service that genuinely works.
